A Peaceful Retreat
perfect spot beautiful lounge period hotel home feel
The location was lovely! It was like a home from home. The period hotel was beautiful, situated in a perfect spot. I could use the kitchen for hot drinks, and then sit and relax in the beautiful lounge.
The toilet made a VERY loud noise when flushed.

Guests could use the kitchen to prepare beverages and snacks. The lounge area offered comfortable seating for relaxation. Shared spaces provided ample opportunities for interactions and quiet moments alike. This enhanced my visit.

loud toilet missing kettle
The noise was a real issue. The toilet system was loud. It sounded like macerators were used and I heard clanging at night! It disrupted my sleep. There was no kettle in my room. I had to go to the first floor kitchen. That's not ideal in pyjamas.

The room included a comfortable bed. A choice of pillows was available to me. I found the shower to be decent enough. The bathroom was compact. but adequate.
My sink had a crack, and the seals around it looked a little grubby.

nice decoration dining room clean house
The house has nice decorations and its design is beautiful! The kitchen and dining room area, I could actually use them, so cool. The house it felt really put together and clean!
The toilet made some noise because it has a sani flow system!

excellent communication perfect location kitchen access
communication was great before my arrival. i got all the check-in details, and also info about breakfast. the location was perfect! though the parking was expensive. i loved being able to use the kitchen for making hot drinks.
the toilet was noisy, i think there was a sani flow system in place.

comfortable bed good shower handy parking
i found the room lovely with a very comfortable bed. the shower was a good size too. i also appreciated the handy street parking directly opposite the hotel.
the pipes sometimes made loud noises when someone used the toilet.

this location is great on a quiet square near parkland. it's on the edge of the city center so you can walk to Clifton Village, it is very convenient for getting around.
